Works without a bunch of hassles, plug and play, an excellent solution for systems without built-in cards. I keep one of these in my bag in case I have to work on an old wireless-less system. A good example of getting what you pay for. Asus stuff is usually never horrible and sometimes sublime, a favored brand in my book.

Upgraded from a pci card "g" to this usb plug in unit. Set up easily and gives a better signal than the pci card did with an external antenna above my desk.

This ASUS USB-N13 rocks. Easy to install. It easily detects my wireless router. I am enjoying streaming moving and videos.

I bought this adapter because it had 4 reviews (on amazon) that were positive, plus it had good ratings on another site. Also, Asus is generally a good brand to go with.
I'm running on windows 7, if that matters. And I also went to Asus's website and downloaded the most recent drivers and yet the problem persists.
This product failed at doing the most basic function, which was to just stay connected to the wireless router/internet. The wireless adapter I replaced this N13 with is actually much more stable (although it's not stable at all). I don't get many dropped connections from the router, but what does it really matter if the internet isn't working? I usually can't use the N13 for more than 5-10 minutes before I have to unplug/replug the adapter.

I bought this to add wireless to an old desktop located on the second floor of our house and at the opposite end of the house from the wifi base.
The signal is received is "low" which is the same strength I get from my notebook and netbook. The signal does not seem to drop though so it works fine.
