This is my second Discgear case. the first one is 10 years old, and in perfect working order, even after banging around my car for all that time. It is very sturdy, has nice, soft compartments for the CD's, and the locking mechanism is easy to flip, yet wont open on its own and spill out your CDs. This is a rare product that actually works as described and exceeds expectations! I recommend a dark color if you, like me and against all recommendations, keep it on the floor of your car. The lighter colors will quickly get dirty.

I have been using DiscGear cases for several years. These are newer type cases than the original and seem to have even sturdier latches. By the way, if your latches break, you can order new ones on the DiscGear Web site (no charge - except you pay the postage, as the mail carier asked me for 58 cents). However, the cases on the DiscGear Web site cost $20+, so this is the place to get them.
