It's not the highest quality, but all I needed was to load software on my netbook. It did what it was supposed to do. I had to try a couple of USB ports before it would work. I also held in the door to help it read better. For the price of $16, I could not ask for more.

I bought this package from Brilliant Store Inc. I don't have a comment for reliability and durability. I bought it for $13.50. The packaging and Shipment were great. This free shipping package arrived in two days. This package came with a CD, but the CD is for window 98. For window 2000 and XP, it will do plug and play by itself. So there is no need for the CD. I did not install anything. I plug it into my 900HA Asus eee, and it just recognized and installed by itself. It took about a minute. I did not do anything. Then, I tested it out by installing Turbo tax. It worked great. Thank you to both Brilliant Store & Amazon. BTW, I had the Asus eee 900HA window XP for about a year, and it is still working great.

Got the Drive, hooked it up per the sparse instructions. it worked once, we installed some software. 2 hrs later I tried to install something else and it won't work--Windows can't read the drive. Tried to update the driver--oh yeah, it doesn't come with a driver and doing a search on Teac 224e (the drive type) produces nothing useful. Nothing we've tried will get the drive to work now. It's going back.
