To say there has been a lot of anticipation for Coldplay's fourth album, Viva La Vida, is an understatement. Having enlisted legendary leftfield producer Brian Eno, borrowed their album title from a painting by renowned Mexican artist Frida Kahlo and made tantalising remarks about sonic reinvention, the world has been curious (to say the least) to hear what the `new' Coldplay might sound like. Viva La Vida definitely makes some departures from the band's usual formula, which happens to be one of the most commercially successful rock-pop blueprints of recent years. The plangent chords, emotive melodies, stadium-rock rhythms and universal lyrical concerns remain, but Martin and co. have gone out on several limbs here, incorporating instrumental tracks ("Life In Technicolour"), using subtle North African and Latin elements ("Yes", "Strawberry Swing"), and overhauling previously strict verse-chorus-verse structures in favour of slightly more avant arrangements. The old Coldplay still shine through (see tracks like "Violet Hill" and the title song) but even their classic sound feels more muscular and confident. The band's new flourishes, cosmetic and self-conscious as they may be, are enough to make Viva La Vida a welcome break from the old routine--Danny McKenna

Album Description
On her second Nonesuch disc, Emmylou Harris assembles an extraordinary cast of veteran musicians and fellow singers, all of them longtime friends, for a set that indeed showcases this Nashville icon, and 2008 CMA Hall of Fame inductee, as all she has intended to be - a singularly expressive vocalist, a brilliant interpreter of other people's songs, a graceful and confident songwriter. In particular, the album displays Harris's ability to bring new life to songs that may have been overlooked, forgotten or lost along the way. Some of the most affecting material here may be the least well-known - though not for long: John Wesley Routh's celtic/country "Shores Of White Sands" and trucker-poet Mark Germino's heartrending story-song, "Broken Man's Lament." Harris has chosen these songs with conceptual care. Like much of the gently uplifting All I Intended To Be, the stories may be bittersweet, the characters may be downtrodden, but somehow a sense of redemption always vanquishes regret. The shared history of all the artists involved deepens the feeling of hard-won wisdom that informs All I Intended To Be. Producer Brian Ahern was behind the boards for such early Harris classics as Elite Hotel, Pieces of the Sky and Blue Kentucky Girl. The players and guest stars are not only a veritable who's-who from the worlds of country, bluegrass and folk, but they have each intersected with Harris throughout her four-decade career as a recording artist. They include Dolly Parton, singers Pam Rose and Maryann Kennedy, dobro player (and longtime Seldom Scene member) Mike Auldredge, keyboardists Glenn D. Hardin (of Harris's Hot Band and Elvis Presley's legendary TCB combo) and Bill Payne (of Little Feat). Two songs - the June Carter tribute, "How She Could Sing The Wildwood Flower" and the breathtakingly beautiful "Sailing Round the Room" - were co-written by and performed with Kate and Anna McGarrigle. Singer-songwriter Karen Brooks, whose own eighties-era version of "Shores of White Sands" was the inspiration and thematic jumping-off point for this entire album, contributes backing vocals throughout; Randy Sharp, Brooks' singing partner, did the vocal arranging. (Harris won a 2005 Best Country Vocal Performance Grammy for her rendition of Sharp's "The Connection.") Harris's own songs, like the heartache ballad "Gold" and the elegiac "Not Enough," blend seamlessly with work by Patty Griffin ("Moon Song"), Merle Haggard ("Kern River") and Billy Joe Shaver ("Old Five and Dimers," from which the album title is taken). Harris revives what is arguably Tracy Chapman's most eloquent song, "Fast Car" notwithstanding - "All That You Have Is Your Soul," a cautionary tale with a simple but profound prayer of a chorus. Displaying the maturity, elegance and ease that distinguished All The Road Running, her best-selling 2006 collaboration with Mark Knopfler. Harris has created a riveting emotional and spiritual journey. All That I Intended To Be is everything a listener and fan could hope for.

Album Description
Two CD set. This album captures the multi-Grammy Award winning, platinum selling singer and songwriter in the element where fans love him the most - Live on stage! The special concert includes three sets: an acoustic performance, a rare set with John Mayer Trio (with Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino), as well as a set featuring Mayer's full band, all recorded during the night of December 8, 2007 at the Nokia Theater in LA. This album features the quintessential performer as an acoustic songwriter, electric guitar slinger, bluesman and vocalist. Highlights include many of Mayer's biggest hits, 'Waiting On The World To Change' new interpretations of cover songs, 'Free Fallen' and a previously unreleased Mayer gem 'In Your Atmosphere'.

He's amazing in concert5
I must confess that I don't have this CD but am planning to buy it. I was lucky enough to see John Mayer in concert last year and he is one of those musicians who are even better live. His voice is just as strong without digital enhancement and the guitarwork is amazing. I have most of his songs but can't wait to add this to my collection.

Where the Light Is5
Everything about this release is flawless. Production, quality, performance, etc. My only suggestion is to buy the DVD or Blu-Ray versions so you can see and experience this incredible record.

Amazing amazing amazing!5
I have all of John Mayer's cd and I have been listening to this nonstop - lots of old songs that sound really different, as well as some great covers. I love the "Free Fallin'" cover - this has definitely been on repeat. I would definitely pick this one up.

Beck's new album Modern Guilt, produced with Brian "Danger Mouse" Burton, will be released July 8, 2008.

The new album contains 10 new songs, and with the exception of last year's Grammy-nominated, digital-only single "Timebomb", Modern Guilt is the first new material Beck has written since the prolific stretch that produced 2005's platinum Guero and 2006's universally acclaimed The Information.

Modern Guilt is a tightly assembled group of songs that range in lyrical tone from introspection and social commentary to off the cuff wordplay and lighthearted humor. Musically, the album's ten tracks vacillate between economy and experimentation, hybrid and pop classicism, while consistently manifesting Beck and Danger Mouse's shared interest in psych-rock, folk, electronic minimalism and orchestration.

Beck is about to embark on a tour of the UK and Europe, followed by a number of US headline and festival appearances, culminating in Beck's biggest hometown headline show to date, September 20, 2008 at the Hollywood Bowl.

Album Description
Modern Guilt is the tenth studio album by musician, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Beck. Modern Guilt features two contributions by Cat Power and co-produced by Danger Mouse. The hit track 'Chemtrails' is a genre-bending tour de force that showcases Beck and producer Danger Mouse's shared affection for late '60s Psych-Pop. The album releases on July 8, 2008, his 38th birthday.

Editorial Reviews

Amazon.co.uk
Rockferry, the Welsh singer's lovingly constructed debut album, has already succeeded beyond expectations, and although Duffy may not quite be the ingénue portrayed by a clever press campaign (she nearly won a local television talent show a few years back while a single credited to Aimee Duffy is still available on iTunes) she is surely the most appealing of the current flood of young soul sirens. The astonishing title track, co-written by Bernard Butler, sounded like a lost transmission that had taken decades to get through as soon as it hit radio last year. But the gently rolling soul ballad "Stepping Stone", that strapping, inescapable monster hit "Mercy", the ice cool "Serious" (the one time she really does channel the spirit of Dusty Springfield) and the wistful, elegant "Warwick Avenue" are similarly effective. Suggestions by some that Rockferry is little more than sixties pastiche are churlish. Butler's previous work with David McAlmont (featured here as a backing singer) showed his skill at writing and arranging the dramatic, while her other collaborators such as Steve Booker and the team of Jimmy Hogarth and Eg White are hardly lightweights. But despite some wonderful orchestral settings, it's Duffy's terrific voice that makes this so satisfying, even overpowering Butler's exquisitely underplayed guitar work on "Rockferry" itself. Growling the blues on "Syrup & Honey" or belting it out over his lovingly arranged wall of sound on "Distant Dreamer", she sets the tone throughout, several of her songs dealing with escape, both physical and romantic. The sound of someone singing herself to stardom, Rockferry is at times genuinely amazing. --Steve Jelbert

Album Description
The most hotly anticipated album release of this New Year comes not from someone rammed into the collective consciousness by their media ubiquity. Duffy is an unknown quantity at this point, having performed but a small number of gigs, mostly in support of The Magic Numbers, and having only just begun to be seen on TV, most notably with recent appearances on Jools Holland's Later and New Year Hootenanny.

Yet her soulful voice has already beguiled many of the nation's musical tastemakers and news of its beauty and of the strength of her songs is spreading by word of mouth even as you read these words. Radio One's Jo Whiley chose Duffy's title track and album taster `Rockferry' as her Single of the Week in late November, further adding to the momentum. Now, as the comparisons fly (Dusty Springfield has emerged as the favourite), it's time to discover her for yourself.

Duffy was born and spent her childhood years in the north Wales coastal community of Nefyn, a place too remote to be driven by style wars or opposing music factions (the nearest record counter was a bus ride away and only stocked the Top 40). The upbringing she describes is one in which everyone had to rub along together, making do and mending, accepting each other and their tastes without prejudice.

Having no CD collection of her own, her first real musical memory is of walking into the kitchen unannounced to find her mother and stepfather dancing to Rod Stewart. The first steps she took towards defining her own personal identity came when she borrowed one of her dad's VHS tapes of the `60s TV show `Ready, Steady, Go!'. "It had The Beatles, the Stones, the Walker Brothers, Sandie Shaw and Millie singing `My Boy Lollipop'. So sexy and exciting! I played it again and again until finally it disintegrated." Says former Suede guitarist and record producer Bernard Butler of this artlessness, "Duffy managed to grow up without any concept of what was cool or current, what she should or shouldn't like, how to behave or even how to sing. For her, coming to London at all was the stuff of fairytales."

"And to come here to write songs with some random bloke who'd been recommended to her, me? It meant taking two buses and then two trains and took all day. Then she'd do the same in reverse to get home, playing the music she'd just made to old ladies she encountered on the journey. It's hard for cynical music industry types to get their heads around just how far removed she was from our world, geographically and in every other way. But what you've got as a result is someone who acts and sings completely and unselfconsciously from the heart. That's a rare and magical thing."

Butler was introduced to Duffy by Rough Trade's Jeannette Lee who,in August 2004 and after hearing demos recorded in this or that mate's home, became the singer's mentor and manager. For Duffy, to have not just a friend but also point of both safety and reference in the strange new world she found herself in was crucial to her own musical development and sense of self.

"People keep saying to me, `You've made a great record' but I can't take that in because I didn't do it on my own. Jeannette and I made `Rockferry' together and she's been with me every step of the way, broadening my horizons, introducing me to people I can trust." Butler was just one of them: having written the glorious, chorus-free, utterly hypnotic `Rockferry' together at the beginning of the project, they then worked on a further three of the ten tracks on what is already being talked about as 2008's most important debut release. Jimmy Hogarth & Steve Booker are the other collaborators on this classic-in-waiting.

What can you expect to hear? The title track and album opener, as atmospheric, slow-building and idiosyncratic song as you could hope for, leads into a collection of original material that some might call retro in feel (those Dusty flavours, that girl group vibe) but which Duffy herself prefers to identify as classic. You'll find arrangements as sparsely effective as those against which Dionne Warwick told her Bacharach & David-wrought tales of heartbreak in the early 1960s. You'll find lush choruses and swooning hooks (as perfected by the late Miss Springfield and various distinguished others). But this is far from pastiche.

What you'll find instead is irrefutable evidence of a significant new talent, and one that has developed in splendid isolation, not in reaction to market forces or the input of focus groups and industry experts. Duffy is the real, unspoiled original deal. "People keep asking me where my voice comes from and the fact is I don't know," says the brightest new star of 2008. "Why are your eyes the colour they are? It's no answer at all but it's the only one I have."

"I just finished a record with Mudcrutch, my old band before the Heartbreakers. I am over the moon about it. I couldn't have hoped for it to be as good as it came out." In summer 2007, Tom Petty reunited Mudcrutch, consisting of himself, Heartbreakers Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench, original bandmember Tom Leadon, and Randall Marsh, who joined when Mudcrutch first went to Los Angeles in search of a record deal in the early 70s. Now, more than 30 years later, Mudcrutch finally has its debut album. With new Petty songs and a handful of covers, the self-titled disc is both classic rock and a rock classic.

Worth a Listen4
The obvious elephant in the room with this project is Tom Petty. But, this is far from just a Tom Petty project. This disc is lovingly put together by old friends simply for the joy of music, and the joy of being together.
Lead off track, Shady Grove..( vocals here by Tom Leadon ) sets the stage. It is a comfortable interpretation of a well known song, and Leadons voice fits right in with the bands chugging along style. The second track, Scare Easy sounds the most like it came from a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers disc. Pettys mournful drawl is well suited for this track, and his pursuit for music with values, and his well documented disdain for the music industry is well suited to the lyrics. As one who has never backed down, it is easy to believe Petty doesn't "Scare Easy".

Other stand out tracks are the Roger McGuinn/ Jacques Levy penned:Lover of the Bayou, and Pettys: Crystal River. Both have that loose, in studio feel so absent from todays music. They allow the songs to lead them to just the right point, and then they are done.

I would compare this album to Neil Young and Crazy Horse... Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere. Both these works have a " band feel ", despite a major solo artist being involved. No leaders here, just musicians. This CD is a delight you will return to for a long time to come.

Maybe these guys checked their egos at the door. Sure sounds like it.

petty5
This is Tom Petty in his groove. It's very easy listening, very good road-trip music. I liked Highway Companion, this reminds me of it. I'm not sure where the name Mudcrutch came from, or why he didn't publish under his own name, but Tom's fingerprints are all over this CD. It's a great buy.

Wilburys go country.. Do I need this?4
I have loved Mr.Petty and his fine band since 1977. Just an amazing performer who has timeless songs. Not just the hits, the B sides are tremendous. Anything thats rock n roll, restless, spike, on and on and on, this band blows Springsteen and that overhyped Northern bunch away.

That said, for me the music stopped around 1994. Stan left because of the Ballads that were increasingly becoming the new music. Sure we would have an occasional hard rocking sound primarily driven by a wonderful riff by THE best lead guitar on the planet. Tom would have to write a lyrics to match. like Running down a dream. But they became far and between. Remember when you would buy Hard promises, your gonna get it, Torpedos, and EVERY single song was a sing along rocking masterpiece?

I think as Tom aged it became way too easy to write boring "room at the top" crap, that even he has admitted is much easier to produce than a guitar driven rocking song.
He got good reviews for Wildflowers, and it's been downhill ever since. More palply draggy songs with an occasional gem or two thrown in.
Oh well, the stones have done that for years too.
I was spoiled with TP for so long, I expected at least 7 great songs per album. That is long gone.

Either he cannot do it anymore, or doesn't want to. It always amazes me that a band will hit a formula fans love, then decide to "do something different" or as Tom puts it "we were treading water"
Note to TOM: We want you to tread water. If we wanted different we could listen to a million other bands. Your hard driven, sneering, fast talking, working man blues rockers were what made millions of fans.

So Tom keeps doing the special projects, and the DJ political statements, and the feel good self absorbed Mudcrutch stuff. It's not making me happy.
I want the Tom Petty and the heartbreakers of the 70's and 80s' back. But I think they are long gone. It was a great run.

Amazing soundtrack!5
This cd is amazing. All the songs are very catchy and they all have great messages in them. In my opinion, the songs that are the best from the album are "We Rock", "Play My Music", "Who Will I Be", "This Is Me", and "Our Time Is Here". "Our Time Is Here" is truly my personal favorite. It has a very catchy beat and Demi's vocals really stand out. I recommend anyone buy this if you are a huge fan of the Jonas Brothers and Demi or if you really enjoyed the movie.

Awesome!5
This is the best disney soundtrack ever. I'm 17 and the music doesn't sound too childish or Disney-ish. Very awesome. I recommend it for anyone (especially if you like the Jonas Brothers, like me!)

Camp Rock CD5
The Camp Rock CD is really great. I love all of the songs. Hasta La Vista is part rap. That is why the lyrics don't match up. This Camp Rock CD is so cool. I hope Disney does a sequel movie to this one. I'd buy this CD again. This CD is 100% the best.

Amazon.co.uk
Narrow Stairs might be the first album recorded by Death Cab for Cutie since Ben Gibbard's former solo project went unexpectedly stratospheric, but Gibbard hasn't let it go to his head. Oh, OK, maybe a little: lead-off single "I Will Possess Your Heart" is an eight minute jam that speeds off on one long, luminous curve before Gibbard's distinctive vocals swing in, sweet and plaintive as ever. Even when indulging their grander visions, though, Death Cab for Cutie are still familiar as the same band that wrote those fragile, winsome songs back before teen drama The OC came knocking. Never knowingly overstated, built from driving rhythms, flourishes of piano and intricate melodies, Narrow Stairs builds grand, emotionally loaded narratives from small, subtle parts. "Your New Twin Sized Bed" hides a deftly articulated tale of heartbreak and loneliness amidst soothing tangles of guitar, while "You Can Do Better than Me" is a sweet miniature that's part Pet Sounds orchestration, part wistful Dear John. This isn't, as Gibbard would previously hint, a dissonant or especially adventurous album. It proves, however, that Death Cab can extend their scope without diluting the pathos or energy of their music, and it not only sounds great, but bodes well for the future. --Louis Pattison

After relentless touring, performances on Saturday Night Live, and appearing on the cover of Spin and Paste Magazines, Death Cab for Cutie brings us Narrow Stairs. Following up their DVD collection, Directions, which sold over 30,000 copies and their platinum selling album, Plans, was no easy task but Narrow Stairs has already been praised by MTV.com as the band's most daring and adventurous effort to date.

Customer Reviews

Well, I dig it...4
"Narrow Stairs" doesn't exactly sound like an album that would proceed DCFC's last album "Plans", but strangely it does, and after a few close listens you'll know why it does. The sound is experimental for sure, but at the same time it does not stray as far from the DCFC signature style of music heard in previous albums as some critics here would make it seem... I would however agree with those critics who say this album is alot darker and depressing than DCFC's other records, which may (understandably) turn some people off. But! if you like their sad dreamy sounding stuff, then "Narrow Stairs" will probably be your fix, and will definitely become one of your favorite DCFC albums... It's certainly become one of mine!

Underwhelming3
Let me start out by saying that I am not a huge death cab fan. I do, however, like some of their earlier work including several songs on Plans. This CD definitely seems like a step back for the band with most songs sounding like filler and the hit track "I Will Possess Your Heart" diminished by a never-ending intro. Narrow Stairs all-in-all turned out to be a forgettable effort.

My favorite album this year...so far.5
Awesome album. Better than Plans. "Long Division" needs to be a single. Best album I've heard this year so far. The end.

Sony Cybershot DSC-H7 8.1MP Digital Camera with 15x Optical Image Stabilization Zoom

Product Description

Though not considered a compact digital-camera model, the focal length of this camera offers amazing versatility. Shoot dramatic close-ups and sharp fast-action shots with the 8.1 megapixel Cyber-shot(R) DSC-H7 digital camera. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H3 8.1 MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical Zoom with Super SteadyShot Image Stabilization

Sony Cybershot DSCW120/B 7.2MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot (Black)

Sony Cybershot DSCW120/B 7.2MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot (Black)

Product Description

The 7.2-Megapixel Cyber-shot(R) W120 features innovative Smile Shutter technology, which photographs smiles as they happen. A Carl Zeiss 4x optical zoom lens provides high quality close-ups, while Sony's Double Anti-Blur solution gives you crisp, clear images. The advanced Sony Super HAD(TM) (Hole Accumulated Diode) CCD design allows more light to pass to each pixel, increasing sensitivity and reducing noise. Because an off-center subject can make your shot more interesting, a 9-point auto focus measures the focus at 9 precision points instead of 5 giving you greater creative freedom to compose your image. The large, bright 2.5" TFT LCD display makes it easy to compose shots, check results, and read menus in sharp natural color, even in bright sunlight. Face Detection technology automatically controls focus, exposure, color, and flash to help reveal faces in shadows, make skin tones look more natural, reduce red-eye, and eliminate harsh facial glare, so your photos bring out every expression on every face in every shot. Super SteadyShot(R) Image Stabilization compensates for shaky hands and minimizes blur with optical sensors that detect camera movement and send correcting signals to a stabilization lens. Aperture Range - Auto (F2.8-F14 with ND Filter) / Program Auto (F2.8-F14 with ND Filter) Shutter Speed - Auto (1/4 - 1/1,600) / Program Auto (1 - 1/1,600) Flash Modes - Auto, Forced On, Forced Off, and Slow Synch Movie Modes - MPEG VX Fine with Audio (640x480 at 30fps), MPEG VX Standard with Audio (640x480 at 16fps), Presentation (320 x 240 at 8fps) Scene Modes - Auto, Easy Shooting, Program Auto, Movie, High Sensitivity, Twilight, Twilight Portrait, Soft Snap, Landscape, Beach, Snow, Fireworks, and Smile Shutter Operating System - Microsoft 2000 Professional, Me, XP Home and Professional, Macintosh OS 9.1, 9.2, OS X (10.0-10.4)

Great Capacity, Great Price
I usually purchase Sandisk or Lexar memory cards, but I needed some major capacity for my new Canon TX1 and the other manufacturers had not come out with a 16GB version or were priced too high. So at first I doubted the quality of the Transcend 16GB SDHC card, but I have to say all of my concerns have been lifted away. I will likely buy more Transcend products in the future.

The TX1 can eat up memory, but these cards keep me going. I bought two of them. They work great with camera and the transfer speed on downloads is great. Highly recommended.

Works as promised!
We use the Transcend 16GB SDHC w/ Canon Digital Rebel XSI- we have had excellent results- the product performs as advertised!

Work perfect for mu Asus
I bought this product to increase my small Asus Laptop. Work 100% and give me the change to increase my storage of video, music, pictures and office data

Satisfied Cutomer
I purchased this for a my Samsung Instinct. The device shows the full capacity of the card (7788 Mb) and works well. Ordered from Netweb who promptly shipped it and received it in 3 days.

Good size for the money!
I have a Blackberry Curve with the beta version of OS 4.5 and I used this 8GB microSD card and I now have a portable "flash stick" with me all the time. I carry my Blackberry everywhere I go and sometimes when I need to copy a large file, and I forget my 2GB flash stick, I can simply just transfer to my 8GB in my Blackberry. Just remember, this will not work in the Blackberry OS 4.2 - you can only go up to 4GB max. Make sure you upgrade!

Works well. Needed a new card reader though.
The 8GB card works fine with my digital camera. However, copying files larger than 300MB (video files captured with my camera) did not work using my old card reader or the camera's USB cable. I tried on my desktop and laptop, neither worked. I bought a SDHC card reader at a local store for about $12 and that worked out fine. Maybe it was just me, but if anyone else runs into this problem while moving large files, a SDHC reader will solve it.

Customer Reviews

Reason for the negative reviews:
This is an SDHC memory card. The negative reviews here stating that this card does not work are because of the incompatibilities between this newer standard and the "regular" SD card standard.
If you are in doubt, make sure your card reader or device you plan on using with this card are sdhc compatible.

Fine
This is a general 2gb memory card. And lets you hold a lot of space on your camera. If that is what you use it for. I was able to hold 1700 photos on my camera with little sucker!

sandisk
The shipping cost on this product is totally outrageous. This thing can't weigh over what a normal letter costs to mail, at best 2 stamps, and they want to charge $5.00...that is almost what the product cost.

First time I ever had problem with Memory Card
I took about 50 pictures at my daughter's dance recital using this memory card. When I got home and tried to see photos, all I got was an error reading on the card. This was only the second time I had used this card and only had about 40 pictures on it previously. I've never had this happen before with any other memory card. Will never buy SanDisk again!!!SanDisk 2GB SD Memory Card

Customer Reviews

Fast, reliable expansion for my eeePC
I bought this card to expand the storage space on my eeePC mini-laptop. So far it has worked perfectly and quickly, both with the ASUS installed Xandros Linux and with eeeXubuntu.

Perfect companion to Canon G9
I bought this for using in my Canon G9 for shooting in RAW mode. Shooting RAW take a lot of space, but the ability to adjust shots in post processing is totally worth it. I wanted to be able to fit enough shots on this card to make shooting RAW practical. I can get 459 RAW shots on my G9 with this card (according to the camera display), and I haven't run out of space while shooting (yet). Besides, there is really no reason to skimp on storage these days since prices are reasonable.

If you have a camera (or other device) that accepts and uses SDHC cards, I recommend it. I get good RAW mode shooting performance, speedy data transfers, and can shoot a whopping 1459 HQ JPEGs in Auto mode. If you use the video mode with your camera, you'll appreciate the longer recording times too.

It is what it is
This card is like an NFL linebacker ... BIG & FAST!

Has worked as advertised in the several weeks I have used it. I'm glad that I have it since my Lumix point and shoot is capable of shooting Hi-Def movies which, of course, take a large bite out of a card's capacity.

The time required to transfer the photos and movies out of my card and into the computer seems to be less, but I never did a timed comparison.

I recommend this card...Transcend 8GB SDHC CARD (SD 2.0 SPD Class 6)
