JBL Control Now loudspeaker delivers the famous JBL sound as well as providing tremendous versatility in placing and mounting the speaker. It comes in black and is orderded in single units. Single speakers can be mounted in between walls, a ceiling and a wall or in corners. Use them for surround speakers or when a ceiling speaker is your best option. JBL Control Now loudspeakers use ¾" titanium-laminate tweeters to re-create all of the high frequencies you hear in your favorite movie or song from your favorite artist. JBL uses titanium because titanium’s strength and lightweight make it perfect for being able to quickly and accurately reproduce sounds like bullets whizzing by and high notes from musical artists without strain or distortion. Add JBL’s patented Bi-Radial Horn and high frequencies have a wide and uniform dispersion resulting in smooth high frequency sound over a large listening area.
When it comes to low frequencies, JBL Control NOW uses dual 4", low frequency, PolyPlas drivers to reproduce the mid-bass in the movie explosions that make us jump. PolyPlas has the rigidity while staying lightweight to reproduce bass effortlessly and with impact. Add that JBL engineering optimizes the low frequency drivers so that they provide maximum output with minimal distortion and you have a speaker that will literally have you shaking.
