This laptop speaker is awesome. It is easy to use, plug and play, required no special set up, just plug into any available USB port and it starts working immediately. Yea it kinda puts pressure on my macbook usb port but it won't do anything....not worried about it....But yea this product is great so far. Its very loud...so far i've never had to put the volume all the way up...its usually half way or below half way cause they're so loud. highly recommended

These speakers are great, but since they only connect to USB they drain your computer's power. My Macbook could not take the abuse any longer, the speakers stopped working in less than a year. I was very bummed out and could not get them to work anymore.

I Purchased J-lab's b-flex Hi Fi USB speaker thru Amazon. I plugged it in to the USB port of my ASUS laptop, and immediately I lost power, and now my laptop is not working. It appears that I experienced the same problem another poster had with a Mac, which caused them to have the motherboard replaced! Hopefully, this does not happen to anyone else. Clearly, the instructions say nothing about potential compatibility issues with any laptop or computer.

I plugged this into my Asus laptop and the computer shut down. I had to take the battery out and back in to turn it on.Kept happening (even though plugged into AC outlet). I plugged into my desktop, no problem, great audio. I tried a Dell laptop, no problem again, great audio. So not sure what I need to do for it to work on my Asus laptop, but it definitely does work and provides great audio. Unfortunately, it's the Asus laptop I want to use it on. I will contact Asus to find out.

I read some of the comments on the speakers and they work very well. I too have a Toshiba Satellite L305 series laptop. The sound in my laptop is very good for a laptop when it comes to music but for movies. The sound only goes up so far. Minor setback for Toshiba Satellites, but the plug and play made it so easy to install. I thought I had to do some special internal speaker settings, but I did not at all. It takes the laptop speakers over and all I had to do was to turn the volume either up or down.
