Impecca makes an excellent portable DVD player that also plays CDs, a picture CD and much, much more which I have listed below. I'm impressed. The setup is remarkably easy; it plugs into your electrical outlet for immediate use and even charging the portable battery pack for the very first time only takes about three hours. The remote comes with a 3V lithium battery; and although the buttons on the remote are small there is space between them so that you don't accidentally press two buttons at once. I personally use my fingertips to push the buttons on the remote and it works fine. The DVD player itself also has buttons to help me use it.
Another big plus about this machine is that it plays Region 1 DVDs, Region 2 DVDs and DVDs that I make when I record movies off my television. It's incredibly simple; there's no menu to navigate--just pop in any type of these DVDs and the machine automatically recognizes the region and begins to play it. It just can't get easier than that.
In addition, there are menu functions for when a disc or USB device has several different types of files; setting menu, voice and subtitle languages; adjusting the display format between widescreen and full screen; turning on and off a screen saver; setting parental controls, passwords, brightness, contrast, color and more! That's terrific. It's also easy to connect this portable DVD player to a television. It comes with an AC adaptor and a car adaptor as well. The machine lets the viewer plug in earphones so they don't disturb others when they're watching a DVD or another type of disc.
