Easy Saver To Return With No Complaints From Consumers

If you are like the typical person in America and across the world today, you are busy. Businesses understand this and of course, they want to accommodate the needs of their customers. One way they are doing that is by developing more and more ‘Super Stores’. The concept behind these larger buildings is a wise one in a lot of ways and many people prefer them over the smaller stores. These large stores offer the convenience of having everything under one roof, but they also come with the burden of being so expansive that a map can be very helpful and the customer can end up tired at the end of a shopping trip.

Perhaps that is why local drug stores such as Walgreens are becoming increasingly popular. The truth is that drug stores are known for having a wide variety of value-priced products in a small and compact space. Many senior citizens are finding shopping in smaller stores more to their liking because of the advantages mentioned. Besides making the customers’ shopping excursion quick and easy, drug stores offer quality products at great savings.

A perfect example of this is Walgreen’s past reward system, the easy saver program. Although the program has been discontinued many Walgreens customers remember it fondly and there would be no complaints if the program was returned.

The system worked in a simple fashion which added to its appeal. Each month the store would place a catalog in the same rack that they placed the sales flyers. The catalog contained store coupons and rebates on items in the store. But the savings didn’t stop there; almost every item in the catalog would be on sale at some time during the month, which meant added savings.

The customer simply kept any receipts accumulated throughout a monthly period and then used the convenient form located in the center of the catalog (which listed the entire collection of catalog items – an easy memory prompt!). Next step was just waiting for your rebate. You could get a single check instead of several smaller rebate checks. The simplicity of this program is one of the things that made it so popular. Obviously there are thousands and thousands of Walgreens customers that would love to see this program brought back.
